He Is Risen

He Is Risen: I am not who I used to be 

“Resurrection didn’t just happen for you… it happened to you.
And if you don’t understand that, you’ll keep living like your past still has power over you.”

Thoughts-
“Many people celebrate Easter… but still live bound.
Why? Because they’ve accepted salvation—but not transformation.

The truth is:
You are not a better version of your old self…
You are a completely new creation.

The old you?
The one defined by fear, rejection, mistakes, shame?

That version of you… no longer has authority.”

“But here’s the challenge…
Even though God has made you new…
you can still think old.
You can still speak old.
You can still live old.”
“Scripture says in 2 Corinthians 5:17…
‘If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation… the old has gone, the new is here.’”

Reflection Question 
“So here’s the real question:
Are you living like who you were…
or who God says you are now?

Because transformation begins when you stop agreeing with your past…
and start agreeing with God.”

Declaration  
“I want you to do something with me.
Say this out loud:

‘I am not my past.’
‘I am not my mistakes.’
‘I am who God says I am.’

Appliction-
“This week, I want you to make a decision:
Stop introducing yourself to life through your pain…
and start showing up as who God created you to be.

Because resurrection didn’t just change your eternity…
it changed your identity.”

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
