Title: Purpose in the Process: Trusting the Journey

Scripture: Philippians 1:6

"And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finished." 

Teaching: 

Your purpose is not always revealed instantly. Often, God develops us through seasons of preparation, waiting, learning, growth and even disappointments.

The process is not punishment; it is preparation. Whatever you must go through consider it a “good work.” “All things work together for the good of them that love the Lord,” Romans 8:28. 

•  The Apostle Paul wrote this in the Book of Romans.
•  The Full Text: It says that God works in all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. 
•  Not Everything is Good: The verse does not mean that every single event or hardship in life is good. 
•  Nothing is Wasted: It means God can take hard times, pain, and mistakes and use them for a greater, redemptive purpose. 
•  The Ultimate Good: (Rom 8:29), "good" means growing to be more like Jesus Christ. 

Every challenge, lesson, and experience can become part of your story God is writing. The seed must go through the steps and stages of the process before there is a harvest of fruits. 

Do not despise the season that you are in. God is developing your character, strengthening your faith, and preparing you for what is next. God is building your capacity. 

Declaration: 

I declare that I trust God’s process. I am growing, developing, and becoming who He created me to be. Every season has purpose, and my preparation is connected to my destiny.

Prayer Point:

Father, help me to trust Your timing. Give me patience in the process and wisdom to recognize what You are developing within me.

Reflection Questions: 

1. What season am I currently in?  
2. What is God teaching me through this season?  
3. How can I cooperate with God in the process?
